When are you going skating next?

Sunday 1/24/10 @ Petal Roller Dome 2 to 5. I will be sporting new yellow LEDs under the plates, and fresh ABEC 5 BSB 688 micro bearings in my Speed Freaks wheels.

Had a great time, with engergy to spare. We have been going every Sunday after church, and have been building stamina while adding to our bags of tricks.
My boys are starting to shuffle and jam a bit. It is great to see them expand their skills.

Every week, I try something new, while improving the tricks I learned in previous weeks. Too many to list, right now.

Doug and I agree that we need to remember to take a camera so we can get some pictures and video of us skating. It will be cool to do that every few months or so to see our progression.

The boys and I are going to Petal Roller Dome again this Sunday from 2 - 5PM. If you let me know ahead of time that you are going, I will pay your way.

Scratch that plan. We are going to Mardi Gras in Slidell on Sunday. We will have to hit the afternoon or evening session on Saturday, or maybe even Friday night.

Well, since the parade falls on Superbowl Sunday, plus the fact that the Saints are in it for the first time in the history of the franchise, the parade (in Slidell) is going to suck.

Therefore, I am back to skating on Sunday afternoon.

Going to Petal again today. Taking a bunch of kids from the neighborhood along. 2-5 session. Be there or be square

Had another great session today at Petal Roller Dome. There were alot of people there today. There were also alot of young adults as opposed to the usual majority of birthday party kids.

I got a good workout, and improved on some of my newer tricks. The youth minister and childrens minister showed up, too. They are wonderful young folks and are fun to skate with.

The boys and I just got back from a great Sunday session at Petal Roller Dome. I had a good experience on my new skate setup, and the boys had a great time as well.

I got a chance to chat with one of the Roller Derby girls that were there in force today. They seem like a fun bunch of folks, so I invited them to hop on here and hang out.

I may have to go one weekday to see what derby skating is all about.
