I see the video of the destruction in Japan and I try to imagine what it is like for those people, but I cannot.
I survived Hurricane Katrina, but an earthquake and tsunami is much more devastating.

Watching the ocean wash away buildings and vehicles from the viewpoint of a helicopter looks like when you dump water out of a trash can that still has small trash in it.
I wonder if that is how God sees it? Why has he spared the rest of us? We could all be gone that quickly. Do we live our lives differently now because of what we see in other regions? I try not to waste my time on this earth.
